With only a few short years under his belt, King Von is already rising up the ranks as one of Chicago’s top drill rappers. Following some legal troubles, the 24-year-old wordsmith began his career in 2017 with the release of his first album Ca’Von. 

As a member of the OTF collective; started by famous Chicago rapper Lil’ Durk, Von has been able to get his career off on the right foot. With lyrical prowess and a strong team behind him, he’s consistently put out captivating music to go along with cinematic visuals that provide clarity to the stories he tells.

His first hit War With Us, followed that formula and amassed 1.7 million views on YouTube since October of last year. Alongside other songs, Von has garnered hundreds of thousands fans in only a few years. He also earned himself a seat on the Breakfast Club in November of 2018 during an interview with Lil’ Durk.

With all these accomplishments so early on, it’s his latest hit; Crazy Story, that’s set to make a mainstream splash in 2019. Crazy Story has all the right elements to rise to the top of the charts: a catchy beat with a hypnotic and ominous undertone, a well crafted story, and an adaptable flow that listeners can catch on to and emulate. It’s these same qualities that made Bodak Yellow such an infectious hit.

Even if Crazy Story doesn’t reach Billboard levels, it’s already earned King Von some new fans and notoriety.
