Toronto singer Shanaaz is an up-and-coming artist with a lot of appeal. Her vibrant personality, gifted vocals, and decorated confidence speak volumes to her fans and new listeners alike.

While she exudes self-assurance, the 22-year-old artist has had some trying times in the past as she tried to be an up-lifting foundation for a past partner.

“I’ll Be The One is a love song that I wrote about a partner I was seeing who I could tell was insecure due to trauma from past relationships,” She says. “I wanted them to know that I would always be there for them when they were in tough positions or would need support, both physically and mentally.”

Shanaaz vividly brings that level of re-assurance and her vision to light in the lyrical video of her new song I’ll Be The One.

“This song has pure, summer love vibes, which is one of the reasons for the beach background and the earthy tones.”
